Greaser Bunnies

Yeah, bunnies and greasers typically aren't thought of together...

But look! You can either look at them as Ponyboy and Johnny bunnies, Johnny and Dallas bunnies, Sodapop and Steve bunnies...etc 

But who doesn't love bunnies and greasers?

Birthday Update

So the next birthday is Randy's on February 10th, but he's a Soc, although he kind of straightened out at the end. I don't know. The next Greaser birthday is Johnny on March 1st, so not for a while.

Tuff Enuff

Yesterday I heard a song called "Tuff Enuff" and you know what I instantly thought about...

At this restaurant I was at last night, this is what the door said. (okay, the al- of alarm came off) And someone told me they saw someone go out the door and nothing happened! 

I just get the feeling that Greasers would go out this door on purpose. You?

So the other day, I came across a picture of Ralph Macchio on his wedding day (married to Phyllis Feirro). And look:

Random Assortment of Stuff

I microwaved a marshmallow...it puffed up a lot...

not that much! It was a big marshmallow to begin with.

I baked brownies...(need I go through the whole chocolate cake=brownies thing?)

I also painted...

it's supposed to be sunset colors...it's not finished yet ;)

Movies again...

So, on Friday night I watched The Outsiders, again. It wasn't the novel edition and seemed like there was a lot missing! So if you can, I recommend the Complete Novel Edition. It's better, although anything that has to do with The Outsiders is fabulous already. ;) Then last night, I watched a new movie, Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. (1994) It was really funny, and Jim Carrey, who plays Ace Ventura, makes some pretty funny faces:

Not to mention he has some pretty darn cool hair as well...

There's also a sequel, Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls (1995), which I also watched...

He's the one with the glasses, and he's checking out these mushrooms on this tree, and then he started drumming on them...

Greaser shoes and Soc cars

Yesterday at school we did some "community service" (they split us up and we went to different places, I went to go pick weeds at a park) and they told us to wear jeans/pants and of course I had to wear my high tops (I wear them everyday anyway) and I decided to wear my forest-y socks.

And then I saw this car, which looked like a modern Soc car.

Cabbage Butterflies

The other day we had a lively discussion about the humble cabbage butterfly...what this has to do with The Outsiders? This little cutie reminds me of Johnny...most animals do, I guess cause I associate them with being little cuties like Johnny...

Also, just thought I'd mention that those brownies were gone the day after I made them. 

Chocolate cake is like brownies plus I just like brownies...

Smoothies and smiles

Yesterday I had a smoothie for breakfast, (I wanted chocolate cake but we didn't have any. Darn.) and we ran out of clean glasses so I drank it out of this bowl. I don't know, I could imagine the Greasers drinking out of bowls...

and smiles! Now to all of you with braces or that have had braces or are going to get braces, think about it this way: Soon, you'll all have movie-star smiles! *flashes imitation Soda smile at computer screen* So yes, just smile! :D

Stargazing on the ceiling

So you know the scene where Ponyboy and Johnny are in the lot looking up at the sky? While I like to do a little of my own stargazing in my room, with this convenient "little dipper" paint splatter on the ceiling!
